Next Saturday February 26 the club will be conducting Rescue Boat Training. from 13:00 to 15:30 approximately.  This training is offered to all rescue boat drivers and crew and anyone interested in undertaking this training.  It is not a course where we will teach you how to drive a power boat.

Training will involve righting a capsized boat both with and without a centreboard, rescuing crew from the water, towing techniques for different classes of boats and how to come alongside a boat to pump water from the boat.

Registration is essential so that we can plan accordingly.

We will be needing volunteers to be rescued so if you're keen please let me know.
