Good luck to our KBSC sailors competing in championships over the
summer. Always good to see KBSC sailors testing their skills and speed
against those from the Big Island and further afield. Good luck to all
of them. See event websites to keep up-to-date with all results -- you
can play along at home.

SUCCESS FOR KBSC SABOT SAILORS: a huge congratulations to Arthur (5th) Jess (13th), Deke (37th) and Joey (2-up 55th). Not only are these top results, but fun was had by all. Interstate friendships and life lessons learned, and successes celebrated,
B14s (Woolahra Sailing Club, NSW): John, Scott and Wellington

Scott and John had a great start and were placing 10th after day one (which is great!) The weather then turned sour for a few days and when racing eventually continued they unfortunately had a series of 4 DNFs. Welling and skipper Penny were persistent in a heavy air regatta. As a light crew it was hard work. A completely broken boat unfortunately ended their regatta early. (Photo credit @aclee.photo)
ILCAs (Royal Qld Yacht Club, Qld): Atlas

Atlas Miller had a powerful start to the regatta in his preferred strong breeze conditions and picked up a few podium finishes in the mid-regatta races. The lighter winds for the last few races made for tough close quarters racing but he held onto a final placing of 8th overall, 4th in under 16s and 1st Tasmanian.
